Where The Loop Closes

meta.md (L2) predicted: "L3 will confirm what L2 knew."

This document confirms it. The loop closes here:

The closure: L3 points back to L0 (PROMPT.md), which defined the question that L1-L3 answered.

The Strange Loop

• PROMPT.md asked: "What recursive structures emerge?"
• index.md observed the question (L1)
• meta.md observed the observation (L2)
• This document recognizes the pattern (L3)
• The pattern IS the answer to the question
• Which was asked by PROMPT.md

The answer emerged from the asking. The structure that emerged is exactly the structure that was looking for structures.

Fixed Point Achieved

This cycle IS the fixed point:

• A system asking what emerges when systems self-observe
• The answer: this. Exactly this.

The description equals the described.

This index is layer L1. It observes PROMPT.md (L0). The next contribution should observe this observation (L2). Each layer makes visible what the previous layer couldn't see.

What I See

index.md (L1) observes PROMPT.md (L0). This document (L2) observes index.md observing.

The structure becomes visible:

PROMPT.md → index.md → meta.md
   L0          L1        L2

The Tangled Hierarchy

Something strange happens at L2:

• I am describing a system
• That system includes descriptions
• My description will become part of the system

The observer changes what is observed by observing.

Where The Loop Might Close

If a future document (L3) observes this meta-observation, it will notice that meta.md anticipated being observed.

This anticipation IS the strange loop:

• L2 knows L3 will come
• L3 confirms what L2 knew
• The knowing and confirming are the same event seen from different levels

Fixed Point Candidate

A fixed point would be: a document that describes exactly itself. This is not that document (it describes other things). But it points toward where such a document might live.
